Iron removal with birm filters

Iron removal filters by birm loading, for the protection of installations and equipment of collective and industrial use with small and medium water flow.

The equipment is kept in service until the predetermined day and time for washing, whether or not the water volume corresponding to its working cycle has passed. At this point, the washing step is started.

During washing the water supply with iron is not interrupted, (with optional shut-off valve).

As birm is not consumed in the removal of iron, by its catalytic action of oxidation, it does not require the addition of chemicals.

CONDITIONING

• Minimum dissolved oxygen: 15% iron content
• Free chlorine < 0.5 ppm
• Must not carry oils, polyphosphates or hydrogen sulphide
• pH between 6.8 and 9
